Owners wanted to transform their U-shaped kitchen-dinette into a larger, more welcoming living space. A hearth room concept was incorporated by expanding the existing kitchen-dinette space with a 14′ x 20′ addition. The room now includes a spacious center island with seating, an extensive new kitchen cabinet layout, pantry dry bar and workspace. New windows illuminate the area, and a free standing wood stove in the corner creates a cozy ambiance for the surrounding seating arrangement. This beautiful, flowing space is now ideal for any size gathering.
